Some way along the path of Alzheimer's, for instance, patients can't do anything for themselves, you are talking but no one is listening, and by the time a loved one's speech goes, you can be very much on your own, with no one to talk to, no one to help, and no one to listen. This can be for large parts of the day and night.

Support groups are a god-send because you know what these other people are going through, and they know what you are going through.

It's important to know you're not on your own and that can be uplifting, but at the same time, you realize the other people there don't have anymore answers, and don't have anymore of a clue than you do, and this can be very draining, both of spirit, mind and body. The point at which you realize you truely are alone in this.

The energy drain in a carer is relentless, and eventually this can bring your reserves down to very low levels. Even when you do everything you can think of to make life easier for yourself, when the worst happens, like violent behaviour or zero communication, it's heartbreaking.

Fulltime, or even part-time, carers, face a very difficult time, and may even forsee a bleak future. There is no doubt the build up of stress and anxiety felt by carers creates uncertainty, heartache, depression, exhaustion and ill health. Maybe that's happening to you already and you are here trying to find what to do about it.

This is why I have put this CD together!! It is to give you a place to turn when you begin to feel drained, tired, lost, frustrated, exhausted and even angry. Who cares for you when you spend your life caring for others? Well, as patronizing as it sounds, I do!

On a personal note: I appreciate what it is that carers do because I watched my own mum take care of her mum, my nan, for 20 years, until she died in her 90's. As I grew up, I watched and waited as other relatives promised to do their share and help out; and we waited, and waited, and waited. You probably know the rest. All the while mum was working, caring, cleaning and nursing, all at the same time, until my lovely nan passed away. I know my mum could have done with this CD to help her when she was at her lowest. But her caring time was many years before I produced it; shame.

So believe me, I know what carers are going through, and I know how some days you can hardly get out of bed you're so tired, but you do it anyway. Because you know, if you don't, nobody else will. All that love that you shared for all those years is what keeps you going. This CD is for you, all for you because you deserve it.

It will help you relax, gather your thoughts, organize them and sort them. It will re-energize you like nothing else ever could. It will help you to stay fit and healthy for longer by showing you how to draw healing energy into your body through your attention and intention, giving you the strength to carry on, and will act as your point of focus when you are at your lowest ebb.

It is a sad fact that the majority of us will be called upon to provide care at some point in our lives. As much as we love the person, or persons, we are caring for, there are certain things that will occur at some point in the future. Stress and anxiety are two of the major emotions that will raise their ugly head. And, you will reason, I'm not supposed to feel this way. "For better or worse" was the promise, "in sickness and in health".

So you can start to feel guilty that you are being worn down by the situation you find yourself in. These emotions felt by carers, along with the exhaustion, are what create the uncertainty, heartache, depression, exhaustion and ill health mentioned earlier.

It doesn't have to be this way. It shouldn't be this way. You CAN do something about it!

As far back as 2009, the BBC News, Government health departments and Carer organizations were warning that up to three quarters of UK carers are at breaking point! There is no doubt - being a carer is tough. Tough on the mind, tough on the body and tough on the emotions. Millions of carers, under extreme strain, say they lack help and support and information and guidance. No wonder they have been known to reach deep depression, breaking point, and some even contemplating suicide, the pressure is just too much to bear.

If this has happened to you, either recently or in the past, the answer may lie in the CD on this page which has been especially prepared for YOU! It's designed to aid carers to recover their health and wellbeing, giving a short, powerful boost to the body's energy system. Order your copy today! You'll be glad you did!

Carers needs often go under the radar because of the overwhelming needs of their loved one. Carers seem to keep going long after many of us would give up because they have no other choice. There is often no one to step in to take some of the strain, and it can be too late when it becomes obvious that a carer is neglecting their own needs, their human givens and even their own health.

Taking care of yourself is the number one priority for any carer. Why?
One of the biggest fears of any carer is: What if anything happens to me? What will (insert name) do if I become ill or unable to cope myself? Make sure you are there when it counts. Taking care of yourself will be greatly enhanced by the regular use of this CD. Why not order your copy NOW, and get started right away?

Help in coping with the feelings of frustration and resentment
Families, friends, and the community often give lots of support to carers, but many, many don't. While the population and politicians as a whole give lip service to the immense contribution that carers make (carers contribution to the economy is worth £87 billion a year), many carers are left to pick up the pieces with little, or no help, or recognition.

Currently, there are around 6 million carers in the UK (that's 1 in 10). Carers provide unpaid care by looking after an ill, frail or disabled family member and 9 out of 10 carers care for a relative i.e. spouse/partner, parent, child, sibling or other relative. Over a million people are caring in excess of 50 hours a week and over 40% of carers have been caring for at least 11 years.

Only 3 in 10 carers belong to a carers group, which means over 60% of carers do not have the backup of belonging to any support organizations. At present, there are not too many theories around why that is. But I can hazard a guess, based on my knowledge of how some of these groups work....

For all the good intentions, group therapy teaches the participants how to go round the bend altogether. There is a fear of associating with other carers who may latch on and try to gain strength from you, at your expense. This can spread depression through a group in a short time. The idea is to build each other up. But more often than not, the opposite is true.

Many therefore take the decision not to join in with such groups, and to rely on their own resources to get by. This is why, I think, the CD, which is uplifting and teaches you to create your own energy and store it, is going to prove to be a vital tool in the arsenal of any carer who chooses to be self reliant.

Carers often experience much ill health, poverty and discrimination
I can't promise you'll get all the financial help you need. That's not in my power. You need Carers UK to lobby for that. But I can promise you this CD will give you the practical wellbeing, and emotional support you need. It'll give you the strength to carry on and the determination to do your very best under the most desperate of circumstances.

When a carers responsibilities get too much, they need to time-out and take a break. The longer the better, of course, but this CD is designed to help you cope, and to gain strength, when you only have short moments of reprieve. To take you to a place where you can heal your mind, and body, and emotion, in the shortest time.

When asked what factors helped them the most, when they felt the most depressed, or at breaking point, most carers said, 'the chance to take a short break'.

So, what do I have to do?
You make yourself a delicious drink, you find a soft chair, you take the phone off the hook (or unplug it) and turn off the TV. Place the CD in your player, or use your MP3 player, and if it's safe for you to be out of earshot for around 30 minutes, use your headphones, so you can fully benefit from the experience. Press 'play'. That's it! I promise you, it's that simple!

For council services who support carers, and for councils that have a Carer's Strategy, this is for you!
If you are connected to any UK council and have the advocacy role with local carers, I'd like to offer you an opportunity to give each and every carer in your area one of these CD's to help with their support and good health.

Carers need our help. All councils have departments dedicated to raising awareness of the issues and needs of carers. If you work in this capacity in your county, please call me, or email me to discuss your requirements. I know that each and every council in the UK is committed to providing high quality help, support, advice and services to carers, and so I would like to work with you by offering a huge mega-discount on each and every CD, so that all carers get a copy of thier own. Together we can make a huge difference to the one in ten people in the UK who are carers, and to the lives of one in three people who will at some point become a carer to a partner, child, family member or friend.

Every year the papers make noise about carers at breaking point. The role of a carer is extremely stressful and they need our help. It is when support is not available that the situation can reach crisis point. This CD is designed to bridge that gap between the practical help that the benefits system provides on the one side, and the crisis health problems that can occur on the other.

The best strategy for every carer is to use your CD, EVERYDAY!
If you physically can't find the time some days, play it anyway. Even if you have it on quietly in the background whilst doing the housework, the subliminal nature of the gentle voice and the stress reducing directions, will register with your unconscious, and you will still gain the benefits. When you feel stronger and can sleep well again, when you feel relaxed and realize the benefits of using this CD on a regular basis, you will once again take on your caring role with renewed vigour and enthusiasm. Thank you.

A wonderful example of the dedication of a carer
A dear friend of mine, who cared for her mother until she died of alzheimer's, and an aunt who died of the same thing a couple of months later, says, 'I was constantly tired; The pressure was horrendous; I had no life of my own'. But, she also felt 'It was my privilege to be there for my mother and my aunty when I was needed, and at the end, to help them die with dignity, in their own home....... you just have to take one day at a time, because you never know what's going to happen tomorrow'.

She talks to me about the depression, the anxiety, the stress, but also, in the end, she says, 'You just have to accept it'. That's not so easy, because it is natural to think WHY ME? WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS? Actually, 'deserve' doesn't even come into it. Acknowledging that sometimes life isn't fair, is honest and settling.

'I didn't have the internet', she says, 'or computers, back then. But we managed. The doctors told us as much as they knew; Which was very little back then'. Nowadays we have the internet and instant access to help research and understand the illness of a loved one. You can join forums and newsgroups, which often have members in a similar situation sharing their experiences and solutions to recurring problems.

'I had the dog, of course. She was a good companion, and meant I had to take a little time off to walk her. This kept me sane'. As I've said in this article, you have to take a break and take care of your own needs first. If everyone around you is drowning, you'll be no good to anyone, unless you gasp a big breath first, before going to the rescue.
